Q & A....

As players pose questions we will add those here for everyone's information.

1 - Question: Will my PGA League Play count towards the Alberta Games Tournaments?

Answer:  No, the rounds you play will NOT count in the Alberta Games Tournaments.

The League play is a separate setup from our Tournaments and cannot be combined in the 2 separate programs used to run the League and the Tournament.

2 - Question:  How will prize payouts work?

Answer: These will be paid to Players via their Player Wallet ONLY.

NO E-transfer option is available for League Play Payouts.

Players will be able to use their Player Wallet to pay for games during their League Play or regular play on our machines as well as purchase accessories etc.

3 - Question: Is there an entry fee for the first test league to Players?

Answer: There currently is no entry fee required for the Brews & Brags League starting April 27th.

We are asking players to have patience with us as we all learn how this new feature works.

Alberta Games will offer a small payout structure for the league based on how many players participate.

As the League grows and entry fees are introduced, then a much higher payout structure will be available for the League Play.

4 - Question: Will I need to fill out a claim form to collect if I win in the League?

Answer: No you will not need to fill out any claim forms.

All the information we need to send payouts to your player account is collected at the time of sign ups and no further information will be needed to process.

Please allow at least 48 hours for the payout to show up in your Player Account after the League winners are posted.

It will be listed under Operator Balances in your PGA Tour Caddy App

5 - Question: Will there be a leaderboard posted daily to see where players are in the standings?

Answer:  There is no way to post a daily Leaderboard however once all players have played their required games for the week the Leaderboard will automatically update with Standings for that week.  This can be found in your PGA Caddy App under the League you are playing in or we will also have a link on our website as well for the automated Leaderboard.

6 - Question: Can I join a League already that has already started?

Answer: No, once a league has started, players cannot join until the next League.

Players are encouraged to contact us if they are interested in joining Leagues so that we may reach out to you before the next League start date to sign you up and get you registered for play.

All upcoming Leagues will be posted on our website in advance once we have the ball rolling on a regular basis.

Currently we are going to be starting our 2nd Trial League called Brews & Brags starting April 27th 11am.

7 - Question: Are all Alberta Games venues part of the League?

Answer: Yes, Leagues will now be available for play in ALL Alberta Games PGA venues with PGA Machines.

8. - Question: I am a new player and I don't have a handicap yet, can I still join the League?

Answer: You must have an established handicap to join a league that is using handicaps.

If no handicaps are being used then being a new player won't matter and you can join.

9. - Question: I have already registered for League Play do I need to do this each time?

Answer: No, once you have registered your individual team you will be sent an invite to accept play for the next league once it is set up by us.

Keep in mind, if you plan to participate please accept as soon as possible as each league is only a maximum of 24 spots.

10. - Question: Once I register will I need to participate in EVERY league?

Answer: No, invites will be sent out to every player who has registered in the Alberta Games GT-PGA League but you do not have to participate if you choose to sit one out.  Currently only the first 24 players to accept will be able to participate.

11. - Question: What if I can't play every week in the League?

Answer: Subs are allowed as long as they are registered as a Sub before the League starts.
